My PC had been behaving very strangely since the last few
days. I was wondering if may be I should have actually went
on and corrected doc's PC problem of restarting. Ignoring
his problem and leaving it for someone else to do strangely
passed on the same problem into my PC.
"PC RESTARTING AGAIN AND AGAIN" - this is what I typed in
Google and I came up with a solution on this link on
WWW.computing.net which suggested me to go to My
Computer>Manage>Device Manager. Here I was asked to check
whether all driver are up to date. Usually if you don't see
any yellow color "?" you don't bother to check the same and
assume that the drivers are up-to-date. But when I manually
updated each and every driver I was surprised to see that
the display driver was actually updated. And thus I was
relieved from the problem of "PC restarting again and
again".
Normally if you keep your automatic updates ON you might
not face this driver up gradation problem. But when you are
not doing it you should make sure that your drivers are up-
to-date manually.
The other things I was recommended before coming up with
this solution are:
1] Format the PC.
2] Check RAM.
3] Check Cooling.
Unfortunately doc had to format the PC, he really never has
the patience to see that his PC is behaving like a dead
meat. He needs it up and working every time he pushes the
ON button.
Ending with a note - Patience is the key to life's hardest
questions.
